Abraham Onoja - One for the Future!



An emerging light from the down North, but who is Abraham John Onoja a.k.a Diplomat Onoja? He is the one to look out for in the future!

This young man is an enthusiastic and insightful with vast experience in creative and critical thinking, leadership, team management and interpersonal skills, he has excelled against all odds.

Abraham hails from Olamaboro Local Government Area of Kogi State born, he’s a determined, committed and hardworking citizen, who earned his B.Sc. in International Studies from the prestigious Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 2014.

He has commandeered an array of leadership portfolios which include; Youth Coordinator, Keen and Care Initiative (NGO), member Publicity Committee (2011-2012) African Society for International Studies, A.B.U Zaria, Parliamentarian (2011-2012), National Association of Social Science Students, A.B.U Zaria, Asst. Secretary-General; Model United Nations, A.B.U, Zaria, Public Relations Officer II (2012-2013) African Union Students Club, A.B.U. Zaria, Faculty Chairman, Social Sciences (2012-2013), Student Representative Council, A. B.U. Zaria, High Commissioner (2014) African Society of International Studies. He also holds a Chartered Post-graduate diploma in Customer Relationship Management and a Human Resource Management Associate membership from MacNel Consult, all in 2016.

Abraham commitment has won him numerous awards and recognitions, among which are; Most Influential and Most Political Diplomat award (2014), African Society of International Studies, A.B.U. Zaria, Best Class Representative (2012), African Society of International Studies, A.B.U. Zaria, Commendation letter; Office of the Vice-Chancellor, A.B.U. Zaria, Meritorious Service Award, Youth Ministry (2014), Mountain of Fire Church, Kuje-Abuja, Meritorious Award (2014), High Commissioner Model United Nations, A.B.U. Zaria just to mention.

He was posted to the Office of the Personal Staff Unit Head of the Cross River State Deputy Governor’s Office, Calabar, and his diligence to work earned him an award by the State as a service personnel that has distinguished himself meritoriously.

He is the president of Writers Interactive Network (WIN); a platform that provide space for all writers of poems, poetry, song, script e.t.c to interact freely.

He is one who can best be described as 'one for the future' due to his innovative approach to life which can never be matched, and this aspect of his life has placed him on the pedestal as he remains unrelenting in the quest to stand out in the face of challenges in Nigeria.


Abraham Celebrated his birthday on 31st day of October, because of his love for the less privilege he was at the Heart of Gold Children Hospice Orphanage to celebrate with the children who were happy to see him and share in his joy.
