I Support Nigerians Call for End SARS- Gov Dankwambo

The Executive Governor of Gombe State, Alhaji Hassan Ibrahim Dankwambo, has declared his support for call to scrap the Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS), following the recent on line outcry by Nigerians with the #ENDSARSNOW hash tag.

The Governor in a tweet, said it is lamentable that those charged with the responsibility of protecting Nigerians have suddenly become a danger to the people. He added that he support the call to end SARS by Nigerians “wholeheartedly”.

IGP Idris Orders Immediate Re-organisation of SARS

The Police High Command, in response to the public outcry and recent trends of event in the Social Media, with the #ENDSARSNOW campaign, the Inspector General of Police, Ibrahim Idris has ordered the immediate re-organisation of Special Anti-Robbery Squad across the country.

In a statement from the Force Headquarters, Abuja, signed by the Force spokesperson, the IGP is concerned and has ordered the reposition for more efficiency and effective service delivery to all Nigerians.
